Thanks to all who voted for the succesful Sustrans Connect2 bid for the People's £50million.
A Bridge over the River Goyt at Chadkirk will provide the link in an Off Road route to the Countryside
from the Centre of Stockport through to Marple & the Middlewood Way, not only for cyclists,
but families with prams and young children, the disabled in wheel chairs and powered buggys,
as well as a useful Commuter route into Stockport.
Make sure your Local Councillor supports the project.
